ANNIE'S CROFT, ISLE OF COLL, JOINS YOUTUBE

Click this link to my Isle of Coll YouTube Channel

It's mid November on the tiny Hebridean island of Coll. The sky may be grey but when the sun shines through the sea sparkles like a jewel. The beaches, freshly washed by an outgoing tide are empty apart from my dog Holly. The seal pups, chubby and white, lay on the rocks getting fatter with each passing day. They watch me, curious but not afraid. There's fresh otter tracks in the sand. I must have missed them by a few minutes.

On the surface, the island is quiet, almost hibernating, but all around me there is wildlife, geese feeding in the fields, a large buzzard flies off from a nearby rock, seals and otters are all around the shoreline and garden birds feed hungrily on the suet seed pudding I have put out for them.

Keeping up with technology !! - Annie's Croft goes on YouTube
